An Oak Lawn man has been sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for mailing false bomb threats to four Atlanta-area schools. Valtrez Stewart, 29, was sentenced Thursday in Atlanta. He mailed bomb threats to one middle school and three high schools last year, according to U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates. Stewart pleaded guilty in January to four counts of mailing threatening communications, admitting he mailed the threats to the schools between Jan. 28 and Feb. 2, 2011, warning of bombings and killings if money wasn’t paid to certain people or individuals whom Stewart had grudges against.
