Updated: May 20, 2012 10:22AM

A west suburban Maywood woman died early Sunday following a single-vehicle crash on the Eisenhower Expressway.

A 2004 Cadillac SUV struck the left wall and the right wall on the inbound expressway (I-290) at South Racine Avenue about 3:10 a.m. before rolling over several times, according to Illinois State Police.

The driver – identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office as Tynita Bennett, 40, of 1400 block of 12th Avenue in Maywood – was ejected in the wreck, state police said.

She was pronounced dead at 3:50 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the medical examiner’s office.

She was the only person in the vehicle, state police said. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.

Bennett was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to state police.
