Man, 83, found fatally shot in his northwest Indiana home

An 83-year-old man was found fatally shot Wednesday afternoon in his northwest Indiana home.
Julius J. Boros sustained multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Lake County Coroner’s Office.
Boros was found in his home in the 12300 block of 80th Place in Dyer and pronounced dead at 5:10 p.m.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is investigating Boros’ death as a homicide.
