Cougar scare near middle school

Police surrounded a Burr Ridge middle school Monday morning after a reported cougar sighting, officials said.
Willow Springs Police were sent to check out the sighting at Pleasantdale Middle School in the 7400 block of South Wolf Road.
The cougar was seen behind the school in the southwest suburb, but officers did not find anything after searching the area.
