Police said 19-year-old Devante Saxton was going through security at the River Valley Juvenile Detention Center in Joliet around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 2 when he took five bags of marijuana from his jacket and put them in a bin to be scanned by the metal detector, police said.
Saxton, 19, of Joliet, was arrested by Will County sheriff’s police, charged with marijuana possession and released on $100 bond, police said.
