911 calls about Frankies stabbing

“Pressure! Pressure! Pressure! Get ‘em on-line, quick!”
“911? We need an ambulance ... my buddy just got stabbed!”
A frantic patron of Frankies Blue Room in downtown Naperville shouted those words early Saturday morning to a Naperville Police and Fire Emergency Center dispatch operator, after a man attacked and stabbed three other men, mortally wounding one of them.
Following a Freedom of Information Act request, the Naperville Sun on Tuesday obtained copies of recordings of 11 telephone calls placed to Naperville’s 911 center during the pandemonium that ensued after grade school teacher Shaun Wild was fatally stabbed inside the nightclub.
Another caller barked out an order that an ambulance to be sent to the scene, at 16 W. Chicago Ave.
“Yeah, someone’s cut, and he’s bleeding out right now,” the caller yelled to a 911 dispatch operator.
The callers, perhaps unwittingly, created confusion at first for the operators, with several insisting the attack had occurred at the adjacent Features Bar & Grill, 14 W. Chicago Ave. Dispatchers quickly cleared up the confusion.
Most of the recordings were inaudible, with patrons’ wireless telephones broadcasting little more than shouting and background noise.
A dispatcher, during one call, implored the caller to speak up or move to an area with better telephone reception. The operator asked eight times, - to no avail - “What is going on there?”
