The Town of Cicero on Wednesday fired Joseph Terrana, the nephew of Town President Larry Dominick, after the Chicago Sun-Times revealed that Terrana was charged in nearby Stickney last week with allegedly stealing nearly $300 worth of beer from the same grocery store on two separate days using a Town of Cicero car, sources said.
It marks the second time Terrana has lost his job with the town since his uncle became town president in 2005.
Terrana, 41, was forced out of his town garbage man job in 2009, then was fired the following year from the Cicero high school district as a janitor after testing positive for five illegal substances, records show. Terrana used Dominick as a reference for the high school job, records show.
