Man robs Roscoe Village bank branch

A man robbed a bank branch in the Roscoe Village neighborhood Saturday morning, authorities said.
About 11:37 a.m., the man entered the Chase Bank branch on the 3500 block of North Western Avenue and handed a note to a teller demanding money, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.
The bank’s exact street address is 3531 N. Western Ave., according to a Chase Bank branch directory.
The man, an African-American male dressed in all black, fled from the scene, Sullivan said.
The man was further described as about 5-feet-8-inches tall and with a goatee, according to unconfirmed dispatch reports.
He was last seen northbound on Western Avenue, according to the dispatch reports.
