Students injured in west suburban bus crash

Nine students and a bus driver were injured Friday morning when a school bus was involved in a crash in west suburban Kane County.

The Kane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the traffic crash, which occurred in southwest Kane County near Big Rock on Granart Road near Camp Dean Road. All nine students and the bus driver were taken to area hospitals, according to the sheriff’s office.

None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.

Big Rock is in the southwest area of Kane County, west of Sugar Grove.
