An Elgin man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually preying on four young girls he knew.
Jose L. Jaramillo, 59, pleaded guilty to predatory criminal sexual assault and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Kane County Judge David Akemann then sentenced him to the prison term.
Between Dec. 2, 2000, and May 19, 2010, Jaramillo had sexual contact with four girls he knew, authorities said, each of whom was younger than 13 years old when the abuse took place.
