Three people injured in collision with fire truck

Three people were injured Sunday afternoon after their vehicle collided with a fire truck on the South Side, fire officials said.
Engine 64 was responding to call when the crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. near South Pulaski and West 79th, officials said.
The vehicle with the three people went around traffic that stopped for the engine before it was struck, fire officials said.
The injured people were taken in good to fair condition to area hospitals.
