H EY FAITHFUL readers, this big bird is now going “tweet” “tweet” “tweet!” I am biting the bullet and joining the “twitterverse.” I have hesitated up until now because of the amount of daily emails that I receive and try so hard to answer every day. I plan to mainly tweet what is happening in my column or where I am hanging out in the city . . . but I won’t be saying, “Well, I am on my way to the john,” or “I am now in my kitchen eating a baloney sandwich.” And I won’t be tweeting or twittering (I don’t know the difference) every hour or every five minutes. So you “Stellaholics” keep following this sista’ who loves you madly!
THE DIAPER SET: BEYONCE AND JAY-Z named their baby Blue Ivy. Well, at least they didn’t name their daughter Beezow Doo-Doo Zopittybop-Bop-Bop because that name is already taken by a Wisconsin man . . . I just found out that the baby that Jarrett Payton and wife, Trisha, are expecting in March is a boy. His dad, the late NFL star Walter Payton, would be so proud and momma Connie can’t wait.
RECEIVED THIS wonderful e-mail from one of my readers regarding the Tim “Tebowing” Tebow controversy:
“Don’t mock this jock. For some time countless scandals have filled the ‘Wild World of Sports.’ It’s time to applaud the praying Tim Tebow, or any other pro athlete when he or she takes a knee to worship. Let’s not be negative about a positive.”
