F ORMER NBA star and native Chicagoan Antoine Walker was in court this week for allegedly not paying child support in over 2½ years to his ex Donna Grant. He recently got his court notice while partying at a local nightclub, his ex says. Grant also contends she had been trying to get him in court since May. In 2009, it was reported that the NBA star was broke and in debt.
THE AWESOME voice of Grammy/Tony winning artist Jennifer Holliday will be heard at the Harris theater for Music and Dance on Dec. 7. Holliday’s, Broadway’s original “Dreamgirl,” rendition of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” is still the most powerful song ever chirped by a songstress. That alone is worth the price of admission. Walt Whitman’s The Soul Children of Chicago will also perform. This will be a hot! hot! ticket! . . .” Lord of the Dance” star Michael Flatley will receive a performing arts award at the American Ireland Fund dinner Nov. 15 at the Four Seasons.
