Actor Anthony Mackie to be honored by Chicago International Film Festival

A CTOR ANTHONY MACKIE, who co-starred in the Oscar-winning movies “The Hurt Locker” and “Million Dollar Baby,” will take a break from filming “Gangster Squad” in L.A. with Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling, to be honored in Chi-Town on Saturday.

The rising superstar, who also has a role in the current robot boxing box office hit “Real Steel” co-starring Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lily, will be the hot chocolate centerpiece at the Chicago International Film Festival’s Black Perspectives tribute at the Chase Auditorium and will receive the Artistic Achievement award.
