P OP SINGER AND designer Gwen Stefani, whose L.A.M.B. fashion empire includes clothes, shoes, watches, handbags and accessories, is branching out to the tweens and kiddies with her new Harajuku Mini Collection of accessories and apparel to be sold exclusively at Target stores starting Nov. 13.
Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale are the parents of two sons, Zuma and Kingston, who regularly appear in the gossip mags for their kiddie sense of style. Hey, no surprise there, celebs are known for using their kids as their favorite accessories! BRAVO to the Christian farmer in
Northern Ireland who the other day told Rihanna and her music video crew to stop filming on his farm because he felt that her behavior and attire was “inappropriate.” The pop tart was frolicking around in a bandana bra, which she later removed. That farmer was not impressed with her breasts!
THE WMAQ-CHANNEL 5 WEEKEND morning news team, Kim Vatis, Stefan Holt and Ginger Zee co-emceeing the Silver Lining Foundation’s black-tie benefit Saturday at the Hyatt McCormick Place. Station exec Frank Whittaker will receive the Evy award, named after the foundation’s founder, Channel 5’s Dr. Sandy Goldberg, a breast cancer survivor. The event provides funds for the Buy A Mom A Mammogram program.
THE CCC SET: GOV. PAT QUINN addresses the prestigious City Club of Chicago luncheon Oct. 18 at the University Club. This event is already sold out and the CCC expects the same when Illinois House Minority Leader Tom Cross speaks Oct. 5 at Maggiano’s and ditto for City Clerk Susana Mendoza on Oct. 17.
