A SCOOP: My sources are telling me that President Barack Obama will be the grand marshal of the Chicago Defender Charities’ 83rd Annual Bud Billiken “Back to School” Parade & Picnic on Aug. 11. The theme: “Education: Built to Last, A Tribute to President Barack Obama.” The Bud, which attracts thousands, is annually televised on WLS-Channel 7 and WGN-Channel 9. You can bet the security will be tight and right!
