C HICAGO native Angela Christine Stevens, who has become the most controversial cast member on WE-TV’s new reality series, “L.A. Hair” on Thursday nights, is in town visiting family this weekend and making press rounds. The show centers around native Chicagoan/celebrity hair stylist Kim Kimble and her salon, where Stevens is a stylist. Kimble has made it big in Hollywood, and her clients include Eve, Brandy, Laila Ali and Kelly Rowland.
HEY STELLA, as a policeman on the South Side, I was happy to see you support pat-downs of people who live in high-crime areas where there are bulges where they shouldn’t be [June 14 column]. I know a lot of innocent people get caught in the web because of the rotten few urban terrorists. But these thugs do all they can to blend in. We don’t have X-ray vision and there is no neon sign over their heads. I tell people if I have to take off my shoes at the airport because of a couple of idiots, then you can get stopped because of different idiots. Thanks again. J. Sully
