J UST IN: OSCAR-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden (“Pollock,” “Mystic River”), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (cable’s “Magic City”), Brian Geraghty (“The Hurt Locker”) and Vincent D’Onofrio (“Law & Order,” “The Break Up”), are set to star in the independent film “Supreme Ruler,” scheduled to start lensing here in the fall.
“Supreme Ruler” is about a man (Morgan) campaigning in a small Illinois town to become Supreme Ruler of a Buffalo Lodge. Chicago’s Duane Edwards, whose film shorts include “Hit And Run” and “The Confession,” will make his directorial debut, Steven A. Jones (“Wild Things”) will produce and Palatine’s Frederick Mensch has written the screenplay.
THE RAW TRUTH: Chicago’s queen of the raw food/healthy vegan eating industry, Karyn Calabrese, 65, is really going raw.
Calabrese, a proud wife/mother/author and owner of Karyn’s Cooked, Karyn’s on Green and Karyn’s Raw Bistro, is going totally nude in a new book with photos by British photog Melinda Lerner. The pictorial will feature “Raw Foodists” from around the world in the buff and she’s the oldest. “I’m very honored . . .Not many people are being asked to take their clothes off at 65,” said Calabrese.
SEXY R&B singer Ciara while busy promoting her new film “That’s My Boy” starring Adam Sandler, soon will release her next album “One Woman Army” with the hot single called “Sweat.” . . . R&B hottie Tank was at the Hard Rock Hotel recently hyping his new album “This Is How I Feel.”
