Conservative writer caught talking about election on live mike: 'It's over'
September 3, 2008
Wall Street Journal conservative columnist Peggy Noonan was caught Wednesday on a live microphone saying "it's over," referring to the Republicans' prospects, according to Editor and Publisher magazine.
She was wrapping up an interview with MSNBC's Chuck Todd and apparently was unaware the mike was "hot."
Noonan also said she didn't think Sarah Palin was the most-qualified woman to be John McCain's running mate.
