No I don't. The state created the problem we need to solve it. I believe SB1673 will be unconstitutional.

By forming a "Pension Law Commission" that will consist on two state reps, two state senators, four union reps and four community reps. All bills that are pension based will go through this commission and everyone will be brought to the table and a complete plan will be implemented.

For all candidates: Do you support the Medicaid reform package passed last spring, including $1.6 billion in cuts and rate reductions and an increase in the cigarette tax? What else, if anything, needs to done to ensure the health of the state's Medicaid system?

No I don't because we as leaders should look out for the voiceless in are community and this did not.

Do you support letting the 2 percent point income tax increase expire in 2014 as planned, or would you like to see the tax increase extended beyond 2014?

No I don't. I know that this is not political correct but we need revenue to pay the bill to are fellow Illinois citizens and businesses. But I will not support anymore increases.

No change in corporate tax rate we need to pay are business what is owed to them and that will change the outlook in Illinois.

Yes I support the gambling package because that bring in revenue.

Over the last few years, the state Legislature has begun to bring spending in line with revenues by cutting spending in education, health care, social services and other areas. Has the state Legislature done enough to reduce spending and run government more efficiently? What more could be done? Are there any areas where you would like to see greater state investment?

The first thing we need to do is convene a private commission to review the state budget and find all duplication in services and to come up with a comprehensive plan to balance the budget.

Would you seek any changes to the state ethics and campaign finance laws? Would you support capping what state party leaders can donate during a general election?

Ethic changes are necessary but are not easy to implement till the situations arises that need to be dealt with, such as, Derrick Smith. I support a cap on contribution and money raised for a campaign cycle to just the compensation of said office, such as, $67,000 for State Representative.

Would you back a constitutional amendment to shift from a flat income tax to a progressive income tax system?
