I'm concerned with preserving our freedoms, our traditional American way of life, defending our United States Constitution, lowering taxes, eliminating wasteful spending, balancing the federal budget, strengthening and solidifying the conditions for economic growth so that private sector businesses can survive, thrive and grow producing mutually beneficial jobs for people to work, protecting our USA borders, enforcing and toughening our existing immigration laws currently on the books, and having something left of our country to pass on to our future generations.

As our Congressman, I will be an outstanding advocate for the voice of the ordinary citizen, taxpayer, and business of our district in Washington, D.C.
I will fight for common sense legislation making OUR government smaller, limited and less intrusive in our lives, businesses and communities.
I will welcome and promote new business development in our state and district again by strengthening and solidifying the conditions for economic growth, bringing real businesses and real jobs back to Illinois and our district for good. I will not sell out "We The People", the citizens and taxpayers!
I also want help stop the spread of the toxic Chicago Democrat machine's culture of corruption into our far reaching suburbs, ending much of the political patronage system from the south and southwest side of Chicago to the southwest suburbs, much of which for many years has flowed through the congressional office, which by the way is common knowledge to southsiders.
My measure of success: To wake up the day after the November 2012 general elections, knock on Speaker Madigan's door, and introduce myself as his new congressman. He lives here in the 3rd Congressional District and hand picked the new district boundaries in the state's map drawing process.

I would sign it. It's a righteous committment to "We The American People", the citizens and taxpayers by the coming NEW leadership of our government, lead by many good ordinary people running for elected office taking OUR country BACK!

I do not admire any of the Supreme Court justices. Roberts -- first and foremost should have ruled Obamacare as unconstitutional -- it was a tax and not a penalty, and needed to have been started in the Congress, not the Senate.

The perception being encouraged by those who may benefit politically is that the rich are getting richer and the poor are still poor, and that it's unfair. Life isn't fair, get over it. People have come to this country and immigrated legally over the past 226 years, they came here in search of opportunity, not a handout. They built businesses from virtually nothing, supporting families and employees in the mean time. The American Dream lives on for those willing to take risks and not jost sit back and complain about how unfair things are. Perception and perspective of your real situation, risk taking, personal responsibility, a drive to survive and thrive, and never worring about how much more or less someone else has than you build character and can only make you stronger.
My perspective - I'd like to be in the 1%, that's a fantastic goal for anyone to be trying to achieve. We should encourage people to strive to do better through their own personal responsibility - not government entitlements and accepting status quo.

Weather patterns are unpredictable over long periods of time. Existing weather data currently is only about 130 years worth +/-, only a sliver of the Earth's existence. The Midwest was once a glacier if scientific history is correct, that means ice. Land masses and tectonic plates have been shifting for billions of years, and will continue to shift, move and change. Volcanic gases and ash are some of the largest natural polluters of our air and are responsible for the greatest amounts of ozone depletion. Depleted ozone is repaired by the sun naturally. Carbon dioxide is produced by many things, yet plant life and all vegetation thrive on carbon dioxide. How can anyone justify that we can do something to maintain the current climate that changes on our earth naturally based on constantly changing weather patterns and the ever-shifting land masses? The more we try to fix what we can't, we upset the balance of the existing environment.

Military action may be the only solution. If they are willing to carry out buiding and completing a nuclear bomb that may not necessarily be used as part of their national defense strategy, and instead as an offense strategy, considering their intentions over the years with their close neighbors, then we should move quickly and swiftly to remove the threat to our country and the rest of the world, primarily in our own security interests, and in the interests of our true allies - no matter how this current administration views our friends and allies of old.

Build and keep a strong military, that's our primary defense against any foreign threat. That is always a must. Next, protect our USA borders from illegal intrusion. Spending cuts must happen. No one has extra money to pay more in taxes -- taxes we've already paid once, while they spent irresponsibly and have asked for it a second time now. Let's get real, the economy isn't speeding down the road with four flat tires and a blown motor. Lower taxes on business and reduce regulations on business. (Illinois legislators -- take that hint! Welcome businesses back to Illinois, make it a business friendly state -- don't chase the rest away). Let businesses do what they do best -- make money -- income tax, sales tax, etc will be generated by jobs being had and more tax money will come in exponentially that way -- not by increasing the rate of taxes on the 53%!. Help get much of the 47% back to work -- create some real, not inflated, consumer confidence -- that alone would help growth greatly.

Reform the criteria for SSI and disability. For those who truly need it and are not scamming the system, reform the way that decisions are made by government employees who run the system, loosely handing out benefits to some and unfairly turning away others who meet the same criteria. It's a system designed to be taken advantage of by liars and cheats scamming the system for public dollar handouts, creating a serious cycle of dependency for many Americans and illegal resident immigrants.

Human life begins at conception. To decide to kill a living human against it's will growing within the mother based on life convenience? Actions have consequences. Incest or rape -- still a living human -- can you make that decision that this life should not exist?

Marriage is an institution created by God, for one man and one woman, for procreation, and has been acknowledged by most religions throughout the centuries. Why now does this need to be altered by those who would rather change the world to how they see fit for themselves? God has been around since the beginning of time. Our lives are but a sliver of time in this range. Make the world adapt to one or two individual? I feel we need to further define this as our national standard.

55 and older retain the same plan. No changes for them. 401k's to replace pensions. That's a given. How to save it? Make it only for retirement. That's what it was supposed to be for in the first place. Not for every social ill program that can be dreamed. Obamacare was funded with Social Security money. This was money taken from seniors retirement as well.

All employees should be able to work at a company without being forced into partaking in a benefit and wage negotiating group, that will act as a forced political arm rather than in the interest of their membership. Let those who want to achieve more go it alone and negotiate their own raises, wages, benefits and achievement. Let those who still chose to remain in the status quo of equality with each other in a union continue. Companies should have equal time as unions do, to approach employees about the benefits of not having their union as well, with no government retribution, and no interferrence by the union leadership. Employees should be able to vote out a union JUST AS EASILY as they can VOTE ONE IN.

We have the right to bear arms. There should not be municipal restrictions and ordinances that hold any water when it comes to this important constitutional right. Police are reactive to situations, after the fact that an incident happened. We are the ones who need to stave off an intrusion -- to be able to protect ourselves.

No amnesty. People have come to this country in search of opportunity, and have done this legally -- following the correct process for becoming a citizen. Our unauthorized visitors seem to have greater advantages (and benefits) than our own citizens. If you're here illegally, you know that full well already. You know there is a possibility of being deported for this action if caught living here under the radar. It's killing our jobs and our economy.
