Deal set to end Zion-Benton teachers strike

A deal has been reached to end the teachers strike at Zion-Benton High School, and classes are expected to resume Wednesday.
Negotiators for the Zion-Benton Federation of Teachers reached agreement early Tuesday with the north subruban District 126 School Board to end their strike. The union membership is expected to ratify the deal Tuesday afternoon. That would mean classes, school sports and other school activites resume Wednesday.
