Remedial college classes: The basic facts

All but a handful of Illinois colleges and universities offer remedial classes for students. The following is the percentage of undergraduate students enrolled in at least one developmental course in the fall of 2010.
The percentage is of a school’s total undergraduate population, not just incoming freshmen, the group of students most likely to be enrolled in remedial classes.
