Man stabbed several times in Ravenswood

A man was stabbed several times in the chest early Friday in the North Side Ravenswood neighborhood.
The 21-year-old man was stabbed just before 1 a.m. in the 4400 block of North Campbell Ave., police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. He suffered several stab wounds to the chest and was taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
According to unconfirmed dispatch reports, the man was stabbed while in a car described as a green Acura four-door vehicle.
No one is in custody and Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
