A $10,000 reward is being offered to catch a serial bank robber believed to be from Indiana who has hit banks at gunpoint in Michigan and Ohio while wearing Barack Obama and Al Gore Halloween masks in some of the heists.
The FBI says the man may be from north central Indiana and is wanted for seven robberies in south central Michigan and one in Ohio with the latest reported Oct. 14 in Lyons, Ohio, an FBI release said.
Three of the Michigan robberies were reported in Coldwater in Branch County, Michigan.
The suspect is a white man, about 6-foot with an average build. He has worn camouflage clothing during hunting season to disguise his appearance and in some robberies wore a vinyl Halloween mask, possibly Al Gore and Barack Obama presidental masks.
The man has used a black semi-automatic pistol during the robberies and is presumed to be armed and dangerous, the release said.
The getaway vehicle is described as a white four-door passenger car with a gray or black strip along the bottom.
A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered by Southern Michigan & Trust for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the serial bank robber.
Anyone with information should call the FBI Kalamazoo Resident Agency at (269) 349-9607.
