Two teens injured in Roseland shooting

Two teens were shot while sitting in a vehicle in the Far South Side Roseland neighborhood early Tuesday.
An 18-year-old man and 16-year-old girl were sitting in the vehicle in the 10500 block of South Wentworth Avenue at 1:18 a.m. when a male gunman began shooting at them, police said.
The man was shot in the chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, while the girl was shot in the face and taken to Roseland Community Hospital, police said. Both are listed in “stable” condition.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but no one is in custody early Tuesday.
