Just after 9 p.m., a 46-year-old man was standing in the alley in the 1200 block of West 72nd Place when someone walked up and opened fire, police said. The man was shot in the torso, hip, arm and leg. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.

About 8:40 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was sitting on a porch in the 5700 block of South Peoria Street when someone in a light-colored vehicle shot him in the leg, police said. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where was listed in good condition, police said.

About 7:30 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg in the 2400 block of West 21st Street on the Lower West Side. The shooter fired from a dark-colored vehicle, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, and his condition was “stable,” police said.

Another 15-year-old boy was shot in the buttocks in the 6100 block of South Indiana Avenue about 7:15 p.m., police said. He had been walking with a group when they were approached by another group and someone opened fire. He was also taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.

Monday’s first shooting happened about 5:15 p.m. in the LeClaire Courts neighborhood on the Southwest Side. A 22-year-old man was in the 4600 block of South Lamon Avenue when he got into an argument with several people in a vehicle and was shot, police said. He drove to the intersection of 51st and Cicero before he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
