Man, 72, held for murder in Englewood stabbing

A 72-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing Friday of a 69-year-old man in Englewood.

Roosevelt Shaffer, 72, of the 900 block of West 63rd Street, is charged with killing Raymond Robinson that occurred 10 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of West 63rd Street, authorities said.

According to the police, Shaffer stabbed Robinson, of the 1600 block of North Lotus Avenue, during an argument.
