Man shot to death in West Englewood

Am 18-year-old man died Saturday night after being shot in West Englewood.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Hermitage Avenue, according to the police, who said they suspect the killing was drug-related. They said narcotics were found at the scene of the shooting.
The young man, whose name had not been released by late Saturday, was found on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the chest and backside, the police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
