$900K bail for woman charged in West Side stabbing death

Bail was set Saturday at $900,000 for a woman charged with fatally stabbing another woman during what police called a domestic dispute Friday in Austin. Debra Jean Jones, 54, is charged with first-degree murder. Police said Jones and Shounya Burnett, 45, were arguing around 12:55 a.m. Friday in a first-floor apartment in the 1100 block of North Mayfield Avenue when Jones stabbed Burnett with a knife in the neck and chin.
