A security guard at Morton East High School in Cicero is charged with criminal sexual assault over what authorities said Saturday was an improper sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student he befriended at the school.
Osiel Martinez, 36, began the sexual relationship with the girl at some point between March and August, on one occasion driving her home from school and having sex with her there, Cook County prosecutors said Saturday as the Cicero man appeared in court and was ordered held on $200,000 bail.
Prosecutors said Martinez told the girl not to tell anyone about their relationship because he would go to jail, but she later told a friend.
Martinez made a handwritten admission to police, prosecutors said. Martinez is married to a Cicero middle school teacher and has two kids, his lawyer said.
