A South Side woman bit off the nose of her second cousin during a heated argument following a family party earlier this month, Cook County prosecutors said Thursday.
One of the two women offered the other a ride home on Aug. 4 and while they were outside the car, they got into a fight that soon became physical, prosecutors said
Damika Robinson, 39, bit the victim’s face several times, authorities said. One of the bites took off part of her second cousin’s nose, according to a police report.
Robinson, of the 1500 block of East 61st, was arrested Tuesday.
Her 38-year-old relative suffered “several bite marks to her face including her nose being bit off,” the police report said.
Prosecutors didn’t know what prompted the fight between the pair.
Robinson was ordered held in lieu of $225,000 bail for aggravated battery Thursday.
