A teenager was ordered held in lieu of $750,000 bail Tuesday for allegedly robbing and raping two women at gunpoint in separate back-to-back incidents in the South Chicago neighborhood over the weekend.
After taking $20 from a woman who was walking through Bessemer Park shortly after midnight Saturday, Rasheed Hinton, who was with his juvenile brother and another male, told her “Bitch, we want some p----,” cook County prosecutors said.
Hinton continued to hold the woman at gunpoint while one of his cohorts choked her, Assistant State’s Attorney Bridget O’Brien said.
All three forced the woman to give them oral sex while choking her and then threw her to the ground and raped her after they fitted themselves with condoms, O’Brien said.
“Bitch don’t look at us, just give us the p----,” Hinton, 17, allegedly said during the attack before fleeing with the others.
Exactly 24 hours later, the trio — this time wearing ski masks — descended upon another woman who was leaving a bar, O’Brien said.
Hinton allegedly pointed a toy gun at the woman, but she thought it was real and started looking through her purse.
Hinton and the others then pushed the woman into a vacant lot where Hinton grabbed the purse and took money, O’Brien said.
One of the attackers grabbed the victim by the hair and dragged her to a nearby park where the three males forced her to give them oral sex, O’Brien said.
They continued to place condoms on themselves before one of the three raped her, O’Brien said.
The woman was eventually able to escape and called police and her boyfriend from a nearby restaurant.
Hinton and his brother were arrested shortly after while walking down a street. Hinton had a condom in his mouth, O’Brien said.
The second victim later identified Hinton’s voice in a line-up and Hinton later admitted what he had done and told police where they could find the toy gun, O’Brien said.
O’Brien did not know if Hinton’s brother was charged.
Hinton, of the 9100 block of South Colfax, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated robbery.
