Dolton woman charged in deadly Rogers Park stabbing of mom’s boyfriend

An 18-year-old woman from Dolton was ordered held Saturday on $2 million bail in the stabbing death Thursday in Rogers Park of her mother’s boyfriend.

Dezerai Gardner, of the 2000 block of West Jarvis Avenue, is charged with first-dgeree murder. She’s accused of stabbing 35-year-old Anthony Price in the chest with a butcher knife, pulling the knife out and running away, according to prosecutors.

Price died at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
