Two teen girls and three men were medically evaluated Thursday night after experiencing an adverse reaction to a “strong hallucinogenic,” police said.
Multiple ambulances were called to the Bridgeport neighborhood in the 3200 block South Racine as members of the group suffered the ill effects of the drug about 10:10 p.m., police said.
Police said a 17-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman, and three men, ages 20, 21 and 28 – were taken by ambulance to area hospitals for observation, police said.
Police said they have not determined what drug, or drugs, they took.
Charges are not expected to be filed against the five.
