Man walks into hospital with gunshot wound in stomach

A 22-year-old man walked into a Mount Sinai Hospital late Wednesday night with a gunshot wound in his stomach, police said.
The man told police he was shot in the 3900 block of West 24th Street about 11:30 p.m., Chciago Police News Affairs Amina Greer said.
The extent and severity of the man’s injuries was not immediately known, Greer said.
The shooting was possibly gang-related, police said.
Area Central detectives were investigating.
