Downers Grove bank robbed by man in construction costume

DOWNERS GROVE — A man in a construction costume robbed a bank Wednesday in west suburban Downers Grove.
A man wearing an orange construction helmet, orange shirt, jeans and sunglasses robbed the Citibank office in the 5100 block of Main Street in Downers Grove, according to the FBI.
The robber is described as beetween 45- to 50-year-old man with his head covered, the FBI said. He is about 5-feet-10 and had a “5 o’clock shadow” beard.
No weapon was shown.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robber. Anyone with information should call the FBI Chicago at (312) 421-6700.
