2 men shot in McKinley Park neighborhood

Two men were injured — one critically —when gunfire rang out in the McKinley Park neighborhood early Monday.
They were shot about 12:35 a.m. Monday in the 1700 block of West 38th Street, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said, citing preliminary information.
Police said the man who was critically injured was shot in the face and taken to Stroger Hospital. The other man was shot in the foot and was taken to an area hospital, police said.
No one was in custody early Monday. Area Central detectives were investigating.
