A man reportedly was found dead in wreckage after a fire Friday in a warehouse-like building at the Trinity Landscaping company in Carpentersville.
Area firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 1050 Tamarac Drive shortly after 5 p.m.
The company is located in a small industrial park near the center of the village.
Video shot by a helicopter from WLS Channel 7 TV News showed that either the building’s roof had collapsed or it originally had no roof.
The structure seemed to contain piles of mulch or some other vegetable material.
