Man killed in shooting in Auburn-Gresham neighborhood

A 33-year-old man was fatally shot in the neck about 2:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of West 80th Street in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
Dantario White, of the 8000 block of South Bishop, was pronounced dead at 4:14 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Area South detectives were investigating the shooting as a possible drive-by.
