Teen shot in leg in Lawndale neighborhood

A 16-year-old boy is in good condition after he was shot in the leg about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
He was in the 1600 block of South Ridgeway when he heard gunfire and realized he had been shot, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
He waken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Greer said.
No one was in custody. Area Central detectives were investigating.
