Northwest Side man charged with Skokie burglary

SKOKIE — A Northwest Side man has been charged with burglarizing a home in north suburban Skokie.
Skokie police were called to a burglary in the 8400 block of LeClaire Avenue on Friday. Officers searched the area and found the suspect a short distance away, hiding in the bushes in the 5100 block of Elm, police said.
Witnesses identified the suspect as Sydney Odisho, 37, of the 4700 block of North Central Avenue, Chicago, Skokie police said. He has been charged with residential burglary.
