A convicted felon and reputed gang member was ordered held on $75,000 bail Saturday after Chicago police arrested him Friday during a traffic stop on the South Side.

Massi Scott, 23, was in a car that was pulled over in the 5200 block of South Damen Avenue and taken into custody on six counts of possession of firearms by a felon, police said.

He’d been sought since the police, acting on a tip, got a search warrant for Scott’s home in the 5600 block of South Wolcott Avenue and found two assault rifles — an SKS and an AK-47 — and four shotguns on March 14.

Massi wasn’t home at the time, according to the police, who also seized two 30-round magazines with 36 live rounds and a bag with additional live ammunition.
