A 42-year-old Westmont woman was charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of her husband, Westmont Police said Sunday.
Police said Lisa Davis stabbed her husband, David Davis, 49, during an argument Friday night in their home in the 500 block of West 61st Street. Westmont Police responded to a 911 call about 7:30 p.m. Friday and found David Davis bleeding from a knife wound in the right side of his abdomen, according to the DuPage County State. He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital, where died from his injuries about 11:36 p.m.
Lisa Davis was arrested charged with first-degree murder, according to the state’s attorney’s office.
She was expected to appear at a bond hearing in court Monday morning in the DuPage County, the release said.
