A man busted for ecstasy told police he had allegedly purchased the illegal drugs to enhance his sexual performance for his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, Cook County prosecutors said.
Officers found eight ecstasy pills on Lesfiel Solomon when officers questioned him for public drinking near his home in the 3300 block of West Walnut Wednesday, assistant state’s attorney Davor Mitrovic said.
Solomon, who was drinking New Amsterdam Vodka, was seen throwing a plastic bag full of colorful pills on the sidewalk, according to a police report.
When asked about the suspect ecstasy, Solomon allegedly told police: “I bought them pills because tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and I wanted to celebrate with my
girlfriend and the pills help me get it in longer.”
Judge Edward Harmening ordered Solomon held in lieu of $10,000 bail Thursday.
