A 21-year-old man was seriously injured Tuesday night in a hit-and-run crash in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.
The man was struck by a dark-color vehicle about 11 p.m. at 83rd and Ingleside, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. The vehicle left the scene.
The injured man was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital.
The police Major Accident Investigation Unit was investigating.
