Man shot dead in head on East Side

A man was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head Tuesday morning on the East Side.
Officers found the man unresponsive at 7:55 a.m. in the 10900 block of South Mackinaw Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said.
No further details were immediately available.
Area South detectives are investigating.
