A 47-year-old man was in custody after he allegedly killed a family member Sunday night during a domestic altercation at a home in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, Chicago Police said.
Terika Moore, of the 7800 block of South Morgan Street, was dead when police arrived at her home shortly after 7 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Moore apparently died from blunt-force trauma wounds after being struck multiple times in the head, the medical examiner’s office said, but an autopsy scheduled for Monday will determine her precise cause of death.
