Woman shot on CTA bus on South Side

A 57-year-old woman was shot while riding a CTA bus Thursday night in the Hamilton Park neighborhood, authorities said.
The shooting happened at 8:38 p.m. on a CTA No. 67 at 69th and Yale, according to Fire Media Affairs and CTA spokesman Catherine Hosinski.
The woman was shot in the wrist and chest. She was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, the police and fire departments said.
Area South detectives were investigating.
