17-year-old shot in West Pullman drive-by

A teen was shot in a West Pullman neighborhood alley during a drive-by Sunday afternoon.
The 17-year-old victim was in an alley in the 11700 block of South Normal Avenue about 12:30 p.m. when a dark colored sedan drove by and opened fire, police News Affairs Hector Alfaro said.
A family member drove the teen to Roseland Community Hospital where he was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder, Alfaro said.
The motive for the shooting was not yet known and no one was in custody.
Area South detectives are investigating.
